Last Friday, Caleb turned seven months old... we can't figure out where the time has gone!

Here are some of his latest accomplishments:
*On January 18th, Caleb said "mama" for the first time, and it is now one of his favorite things to babble!  Sometimes, it's "mamamamama" and other times, we'll say "mama" back and forth.  There's no sweeter sound to this mommy's ears than hearing my baby say "my name" though I'm not entirely sure he connects "mama" to me.  However, Grandad was holding him last week, and he was looking at my picture and saying it!  Sometimes, he'll start out saying "mama" and revert to some sort of "nyanya" sound- so cute...  We're still working on "dada"!
*Caleb is trying very hard to crawl!  He's gotten up on all fours a few times, but usually ends up scooting backwards... this frustrates him, so he opts for rolling wherever he wants to go!
*Caleb is beginning to show an understanding of humor.  We were at Baby Gap last week, and put a pair of sunglasses on him... it was SO funny, and we were cracking up & laughing at him.  Well, he realized that we were laughing at HIM, and he started smiling and laughing, too.  Too cute.

*Caleb is on the verge of cutting teeth.  He's been having some rough nights lately, and we can tell that there's at least one ready to poke through.  We're ready for it to come so that we can get back into a normal nighttime pattern!!
*Caleb is doing an awesome job of sitting up and playing on his own.

*Caleb is quite a social, happy baby.  He loves it when people talk to him- especially other kids!
