I guess Caleb's just at that age where things change often.  I can actually look at him and realize that he's bigger- and I'm with him 24 hours a day! 

This week, he's started to sleep through the night.  Monday night, he slept from 10:30PM-5AM, Tuesday night, he slept from 11PM-8AM, and last night, he slept from 11PM-7AM.  Last night, he actually slept in his crib the whole time.  I think I was paranoid to try, but he had no issues whatsoever- maybe because I occassionally put him in there for naps?!  I let him sleep on his belly in the crib, and used the Angelcare monitor (oh, and revision to my last post- you don't reset the monitor when it alarms, it just stops when motion resumes.. oops).  It only went off twice, but it was because he'd somehow wiggled his way to the edges of the mattress, which I guess put him far enough away from the motion sensor in the middle.  He's so squirmy, and I don't really know how to prevent it from happening again.  I'm kinda worried that he'll bonk his head on the crib, but bumpers are dangerous, too, so I don't know which is the lesser of the two evils?!  We'll just take it one day at a time. 

Caleb is also becoming more and more alert and aware of his surroundings.  He keeps eye contact for longer periods, and sometimes reacts when you talk to him... I think he gave Great Grandma Weger a little giggle yesterday!  He "talks" a lot, especially when he's unhappy, so I get a good warning before the crying starts!  Our swing has a mobile on top with teddy bears, but I had been keeping the mobile turned around where he couldn't see it, because I didn't want him to be overstimulated.  Well, this week, the bears have caught his eye, and he'll now stare at them while he's swinging.  Here's a pic:

A silly pic... Daddy was holding him after we got home from church last night, and he seemed cold, so he wrapped him up in a blanket.  That's normal.  But, when I walked by a second time, Daddy had Caleb's head covered with his Mickey Mouse throw... kinda looked like a nun, don'tcha think? :)  Too funny.
