Caleb, Mommy, and Daddy

We took Caleb to Daytona his first beach trip this past weekend.  Honestly, it wasn't a good beach weekend, just because of Tropical Storm Fay, but we had already made reservations, and had no clue, so we went anyway.  It was good to get away!  Caleb was WONDERFUL, despite all of my doubts and worries.  We pretty much kept his daily routine, which helped him a lot.  We slept soundly through the night both nights for 8-9 hours, which was amazing!  We didn't get in the water at all, which was strange... the water was waaayy too cold after all of the rain (even the pool)... but we got a few pictures of Caleb with our new Canon Digital Rebel XSI (a few- riiiight!).  Enjoy!

 

Well, we have finally decided on a theme and bedding for Baby Boy's room... we're so excited!  Typical us (especially Walt), we are going with a beach/surf theme.  I looked and looked for something that was "little kid"-ish without being babyish.  Finally, I happened upon Dean Miller's Alabaster's Dream.  We LOVE it!!!!
